I wrote about a family in Gaza because I wanted to tell a human story, not make a political statement. Behind every headline is a family—parents trying to protect their children, children dreaming of a better tomorrow, and ordinary people struggling to survive extraordinary circumstances.

My hope is that readers will look beyond politics and see the courage, resilience, and dignity of people caught in the middle of war. No matter where we live or what we believe, suffering has the same face, and hope speaks the same language.

If my writing helps even one person see the humanity of another, then it has accomplished exactly what I set out to do.
